ARTIST VANCOUR

I have always had a true love of nature and art.  Having an eye for detail and a need for accuracy, I strive to capture both the beauty and character of each subject from a delicate humming bird to an intense bird of prey.  

 

 Having written several articles on carving, teaching students, and hosting seminars has afforded me to share my knowledge of both carving and  wildlife.  My private and group classes also afford each indivudual student the same attention to detail as given to my carvings.  I compete regularly in both the international and national levels and have been awarded high honors in each.
